Treehouse Genealogy will research your family to ensure that you visit the places that are most relevant to your family roots.  We will also work with you to ensure that you also have time to visit other places of interest along the way.

We offer a free initial consultation to ascertain enough information is available to carry out a search on your behalf .   At this point will also provide you with a research proposal which will estimate how many hours research might be required.

Rather than offering our clients confusing packages, we prefer to offer our services at an hourly rate of £25 per hour so that our clients can tailor research to their own requirements no matter how big or small the job might be.

We will research your family using Statutory Birth, Marriage & Death certificates Post 1855, Census Returns (1841-1911), Old Parish Registers (pre 1855), Wills & Testaments, Directories, Burial Records, Monumental Inscriptions, Trade Records, Newspaper articles, Court Case documents and military records to name but a few.

From the information obtained we will create an Ancestral Tour Plan that you can use to visit the places where your Ancestors lived, worked & were buried.  These places might include villages, towns, places of worship, old mills or coalmines.   We can also advise you regarding museums that might be of interest as this is a great way of experiencing what life was like for your ancestors.

The Ancestral Tour plan will be presented in a folder showing your route and noting down places of interest and why these relate to your family.   We will also provide you with a professional research report and tree and will advise on completion proposals for potential further research.
