I am delighted to be teaming up with Christine Woodcock of Genealogy Tours of Scotland to bring members of my Kilted Ancestors Facebook Group free events that embrace Scotland’s Year of Stories during 2022.
Set up 2 years ago, Kilted Ancestors is a private Facebook Group where those with Scottish Ancestry can join to discuss not only their family history research but the stories that have been passed down in their family. Each month a prompt is provided to inspire members to ask questions among their family and to share some of their amazing family stories and photographs within the group.
Christine & I were delighted when Visit Scotland launched the theme for 2022 as ‘Scotland’s Year of Stories’ as it fits in so well with Family History and what the Kilted Ancestors group is trying to achieve. This saw both of us quickly set to work to tailor the monthly themes for 2022 around this topic and both of us are so proud to be supporting Visit Scotland during 2022.
Each month we will also be popping into the group for a Facebook Live Event when the monthly topic will be discussed and some amazing Free presentations will be provided by businesses and individuals that will either embrace the monthly topic or will show group members how to pull their own family stories together.
